GANS MEETING FEBRUARY 9TH 2019

The next meeting of the Goat Association of Nova Scotia takes place Saturday February 9, 2019 at the, Windsor Community Centre, 78 Thomas St. The meeting runs from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Storm date will be February 10

All members are encouraged to attend. Anyone interested in becoming a member or learning more about GANS is also welcome to attend.

The meeting will take place in the community room of Sobeys, 752 Sackville Drive, Sackville, Nova Scotia. Take Exit 2 off the 101.

All members are encouraged to attend. Anyone interested in becoming a member or learning more about GANS is also welcome to attend.

Executive positions will be voted on at this meeting, so if you are interested in holding a position, please attend or let us know you are interested.

Take Exit 8 off Highway 102. Sobeys is visible from the highway. It is just past Tim Horton’s on Mason Lane. There is no sign that says Mason Lane, but you will find the name on Google Map.

2017 GANS Summer Classic Open Doe Show, Truro, NS

Goat Show Entry Deadline: August 4th

You have three (3) days to get your entry in for the 2017 Summer Classic Open Doe Show. The show takes place on Thursday August 24th at the Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition, Bible Hill, Nova Scotia.

Entries must be mailed no later than  Friday August 4th.

Make cheques out to NS Provincial Exhibition.

Exhibitors more than two hours away can arrive on the evening of Wednesday August 23rd between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Please let us know if you plan to arrive at this time.

Exhibitors must stay until the show is over. This is usually around 6:00 pm. Exhibitors are expected clean out their stall and area where they stored their things.

There is a Best in Show class, which is not listed in the schedule. It will take place prior to specialty classes.
